I invited Matilde and Sofia, locals from Fuerteventura (the island nearby), to be part of me in checking out Lanzarote island right until the sunshine sets. I wished to portray their friendship, and the human connection, and make it glow via the raw backdrop of Lanzarote. We adventured by this land acquiring blown absent by the uniqueness of the landscape that could be a piece of Mars.”

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER: “I’m a Chilean-Portuguese experienced photographer dependent in Lisboa, Portugal and offered around the globe.
I’m drawn to photograph the bond between people in a uncooked way. Sisters, lovers, good friends. I also love to seize “imperfection”. Bouquets. Bold Colors. Heat. The skin on pores and skin, intimacy, unconventional splendor. Elegance. To me, these subjects unlock a degree of vulnerability within me and open my doorway to other people.”
