New exhibits open at three area art galleries | Arts & Entertainment

A batch of new art exhibitions are now open in the metro area, in person and online.

• Northville Art House has opened 2021 with “Shear Madness,” an international collage exposition featuring 60 pieces selected from 160 entries. It runs through Feb. 6, with an opening reception from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at 215 W. Cady St., Northville; 248-344-0497 or northvillearthouse.org.

• Ferndale’s Lawrence Street Gallery is hosting a best-of exhibit from its 2020 shows, spotlighting 10 local artists. It runs through Jan. 29 with a mid-month reception from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at 22620 Woodward Ave. Ste A; 248-544-0394 or lawrencestreetgallery.com.
