NFT Art Day ZRH is the first annual NFT and Metaverse conference in Switzerland, which will take place on Sunday, June 12 at the Kunsthaus Zürich’s Auditorium. A result of a collaboration between Engadin Art Talks and Tokengate, the conference aims to create grounds and bridge the traditional art world with the NFT community.
Engadin Art Talks and Tokengate have joined forces to develop an insightful program of talks and panel discussions that explore different topics related to the field of NFTs, including an introduction to the phenomena of nonfungible tokens and their relationship to the art world, an exploration into current collecting behavior, various artistic practices, and the impact the specificity of the realm has on the perception of NFTs.
Among the speakers participating in the NFT Art Day ZRH conference are artists, representatives of art institutions, entrepreneurs, art collectors and writers. Speakers include Kevin Abosch, Refik Anadol, Georg Bak, Daniel Baumann, Erick Calderon, Primavera De Filippi, Alex Estorick, Patrick Foret, Sarah Friend, Leander Herzog, Jonathan Ledgard, Anika Meier, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Penny Rafferty, Margit Rosen, Laurent Sauveur, Kenny Schachter, Paul Seidler and Alfred Weidinger. Through its wide range of international contributors, the conference is thus set to offer new understandings of the relationship between the traditional art world and the realm of NFTs.
Given the international interest in the event, the conference will take place in person as well as online via livestream from 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm CET. Throughout the afternoon, the panelists joining on-site and virtually will be sharing their vision, experiences and expertise in their fields, thus offering insightful interpretations on NFTs and the Metaverse. The conference will start with a keynote speech and later be followed by an apéro riche to celebrate the very first annual NFT Art Day ZRH.
