One image from each artist. $6 non-refundable submission. January 31, 2023 deadline. Send 900px image with name and title + one short paragraph answering the question ‘why you create art’. Email ONE image and a paragraph to [email protected] Title your email “why artists create”. Open to all 2D and 3D professional artists including sculpture, painting, drawing, etc.

Artists create art for a variety of reasons. We find the outlet to communicate our ideas, to express our emotions, to capture a moment in time, to tell a story, or to simply make someone joyful. Some artists create art to make money, while most artists produce art to express their soul and talent.
