Scientifically Inspired Artworks | The Unfathomable Artist
[ad_1]
“Nucleic DNA S Curve” is Unfathomable.
#1 Original of Physics Lines is one of three artworks derived from the same drawing. #1 Original is a physical canvas drawing and a digital version too. #1 Original is produced through multiple individual pencil lines carefully placed upon the canvas at different angles. Triangular lines feature too, as single pencil strokes. Finally, circular motions upon the canvas are made using index finger swirls.
#3 Sepia of Physics Lines is one of three artworks derived from the same drawing. This artwork is a digital piece only in Sepia style. The idea is to represent a moment in time human beings can look at, physically, of the past.
#2 Waves of Physics Lines is one of three artworks derived from the same drawing. This artwork is a digital piece only in Waves style. Waves represent the flow of time in this artwork.
#5 Simplified of Physics Lines is the second signed drawing amongst my Physics Lines artworks. #5 Simplified is a physical canvas drawing and the digital version shown in this image too. #5 Simplified is produced through multiple individual pencil lines carefully placed upon the canvas at different angles. Smudging at certain angles produce the wider feathered-comet lines you see in the photograph.
#5 Simplified allows art viewers to gain an understanding as to how my Physics Lines artworks are made. This artwork includes the definitive use of [canvas] space to maximise the accentuated beauty of the Physics Lines.
#6 Simplified of Physics Lines is the third signed drawing amongst my Physics Lines series of artworks, beyond the inspiration found in ‘Nucleic DNA S Curve‘.
Here is a direct quotation by me, unedited, explaining the thoughts behind my Physics Lines works:
“i was thinking of stars, electrons, nuclei, light, even as i worked on the canvas. when i tried to do a meteorite style, idk if it was successful (an earlier artwork). This new work prolly looks nicer. a larger canvas would look incredible because i thought of a method for this working style, a pottery wheel. varying the dark lines will add greater depth too. i turned the canvas many times to make physics lines. the preciseness is the compositional structure.”
- Please note the ‘new work’ mentioned in the quotation refers to “Physics Lines #1 – Original” [28th April 2022].
“Physics Lines #7” [shown immediately above] is made using a wash upon the canvas. Triangular lines also feature. There is emotional feel within this artwork, whilst the lines are harsher and less defined.
The wash [a technique I use to draw moisture across the canvas] produces a softer artwork visually. Almost ‘magnified cellular’ in appearance.
An interesting fact is that I did not have my usual 4B and 8B pencils available to make Physics Lines #6 and #7.
The eighth artwork of my Physics Lines series is shown immediately above.
