LeCrue Eyebrows First Solo Exhibition at Van Der Plas Gallery
When I to start with came on LeCrue Eyebrows‘ artworks on the streets of my city, I was struck at when by its singular authenticity. Each piece intrigues, as it exudes a distinct aura of mystery. Visible meditations on these universal themes as really like, loss and longing, the performs are subtly powerful and strikingly attractive.
Not to be skipped is the Queens-dependent artist’s first solo exhibition at Van Der Plas Gallery. At when quietly uncooked and soulfully tasteful, every work tells a tale – to be freely interpreted by its viewer. And each individual piece was developed freely and spontaneously, as almost nothing that Lecrue produces is premeditated. The act of painting, by itself, is to the artist “an powerful form of meditation.”
The beguiling impression pictured over, “Move with Me,” was fashioned this year with acrylic on canvas. A number of much more photos I captured though viewing “Primitive Form” final weekend stick to:
“Own Storm,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022
“Stand With Me,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022
“Her Breath in Time,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022
“Just Beyond the Window,” Acrylic on canvas, 2022
And on a rather unique be aware — “Together,” Blended media on cold press paper, 2022
“Primitive Form” continues at Van Der Plas Gallery via Oct 23. Positioned at 156 Orchard Avenue, the gallery is open up Mon-Tue: 12pm-5pm, Wed-Sat: 11pm-6pm and Sunday: 11am-5pm.
